Experience Life Experience Art
I have been thinking a lot lately about the untapped organizations in communities around the country. Speaking frome experience I know what arts organizations did for my life and the direction, experience, and confidence it gave me. I truly believe that the more you can experience in life the more you can bring to the table no matter what your education level is.
So please go experience life, experience art. Stop talking about it and just do it!

Hello Arts Communities!
NOYA has been working hard as of late putting together its development board. We are currently breaking Directors down into different artistic fields and then creating support teams. If you are an actor, dancer, singer, musician, painter, potter or any other artistic field as an educator or what not and are interested in coming into the NOYA family please contact us with a resume and or a portfolio.
The next few months will be critical for us. We are moving slowly with the intention on getting it right. Jan Planit has come aboard and is working with us on a PR basis. We are very fortunate to have her. As a mother, wife, business woman, she embodies NOYA's mission of community members getting involved and using the networks already in place in their lives to further the community as a whole. So thank you Jan.
If you have any thoughts, ideas, or a project that you are working on that you think we should be aware of please don't hesitate to get a hold of me. More soon and keep practicing.

The National Organization for Youth in the Arts
The National Organization for Youth in the Arts was officially founded in 2007 after three years of different incarnations. Founded by Patrick delivered; an actor, director, choreographer, with the desire to strengthen youth arts organizations in public schools and private organizations. With new goals defined, NOYA is now ready to forge forward.
The NOYA mission is:
Through using “new media” techniques, we plan on bringing Organizations from across the United States together to create a dialogue on what is needed on how to effectively bring forth change in educational institutions. With two years of research and practical considerations NOYA has chosen the communities of Central New York State to be its test area.
Central New York, under intense social and economic change, has been bogged down with budget cuts and shortfalls in recent years, directly affecting the educational opportunities for a competitive artistic education. We plan on seeing how our approach to these issues can change both administration and public perception of what an arts education and value is.
NOYA has garnered support from many professionals in varied artistic fields. We plan on growing our network in the next year. Change takes time but you still have to dream big.delivered
The NOYA mission is:
“To provide performance and visual arts educators a place to commune, discuss, and network to further artistic aspirations. We will work to strengthen the national database of arts educators for organizations looking for qualified and properly trained teachers. By providing scholarships and grants to both students and organizations we can open doors to the arts communities; while promoting artistic entertainment and enjoyment to the population at large.”
